READ ME FIRST ============= You can delete this page before you launch your own website. To delete it, open the page list, right click "Read Me" and choose Delete. This template looks like Windows 98. Here is where to change things. 1. BOOT SCREEN Select the "Boot Screen" layer on the Home page. Change the brand, version, edition and your name, add a logo and a background image, and switch the BIOS text screen on or off. The "Boot Screen (Restart only)" layers on the other pages power the Restart button in the Start menu. Please leave them in place. 2. TASKBAR AND START MENU Select the "Taskbar" layer on any page and choose Edit Component. Select "Taskbar settings" inside it. Change the Start label, the taskbar buttons, the Start menu entries and their links, and the shutdown screens. One change updates every page. 3. DESKTOP ICONS Each icon is a "Desktop Icon" component. Change the name, the image and the link in the properties panel. One click selects an icon, and a double click or Enter opens it. The icons are pixel images, so you can swap them for your own. 4. MY COMPUTER Select the "Explorer" layer in the My Computer window and open its Items list. Every drive, folder, text file, shortcut and download is one item. The Location field says which folder an item sits in, written like the address bar, for example (D:) About Me\Tools. Leave Location empty to show the item in My Computer itself. 5. PROJECTS The browser window on the Projects page shows the page /myplace. Edit that page to add your own projects, or choose a different page in the properties of the "MyPlace Page Frame" layer. The page has Desktop, Tablet and Phone layouts. 6. MUSIC PLAYER Open the Winamp page, select the player and replace the songs with your own links. 7. CONTACT FORM Open the Let's Chat page, select the form and set where the messages are sent in the form settings. 8. SITE SETTINGS In the site settings, replace the favicon, the page titles, the descriptions and the sharing image with your own. 9. BEFORE YOU PUBLISH - Replace the sample names, texts, links and the resume file with your own. - Check every page in Preview on desktop, tablet and phone. - Delete this Read Me page. Have fun!
